The purpose of the extensions is to create the appearance of longer, thicker eyelashes would. You can maintain your extensions with fills about every two to three weeks. You must have 40% of your extensions remaining for it to be considered a fill. Anything less will be charged as a full set. The extensions may be worn while sleeping, swimming, or showering. *Eyelash Extensions can only be applied to your natural eyelashes, not your skin.
🔘 How long does it take to apply a full set of eyelash extensions?
The application process takes about 2-3 hours.
🔘 How long do eyelash extensions last?
The eyelash extensions will last anywhere from 2-3 weeks. The bond life depends on many things such as: Proper aftercare, proper preparation, and proper application. You can maintain the extensions with a fill every 2-3 weeks. Lashes that have been on for 4 weeks or more are considered a full set.
🔘 What is a fill?
Fills consist of a lash artist going through the lashes to remove grown-out extensions and add new extensions. Fills are designed to be a maintenance procedure, not a substitute for the regular replacement of a full set. For best results we recommend fills be applied within three weeks of the original full set. You must have 40% of your extensions remaining for it to be considered a fill. Anything less than 40% and/or outside of this three-week period will be charged as a full set.
🔘 How long does a fill take?
Fills take about an hour to an hour and a half.
🔘 How many times can I get a fill?
To maintain a full, soft, and lush look, we recommend only 1 Fill ( or in rare cases an absolute maximum of two) in between each full set. After that, we'd advise a removal & a new full set.
🔘 Can I wear my contact lenses during my lash appointment?
No! Do not wear contacts lenses during your appointment. Make sure to take your contacts out before your appointment. Doing so will protect your eyes from getting application material, like glue, from getting trapped in your eyes. Which can then cause irritation.
🔘 I have sensitive eyes. What are my options?
For clients with sensitive eyes, please contact us to schedule a patch test. This will allow us to assess for any allergic reactions to the adhesives used during the service. For first-time clients with eye sensitivity who are scheduling prior to an important event ( E.g. wedding, travel, birthday, interviews, and meetings, or more) we suggest a patch test or appointment to be scheduled at least 5-7 days before the date. This provides sufficient time for the technician to do a removal in any case of reaction.
Disclaimer: Just as any allergic reactions can occur, there are some cases in which a client may experience or even develop an allergy or sensitivity to the adhesive or products used during the service. If you developed a reaction, please contact us immediately or seek medical attention. You will need to provide medical clearance before we can proceed with the removal and for any future lash appointments thereafter, although it is not advised to continue receiving this service.
🔘 Will eyelash extensions damage my natural eyelashes?
With proper application and aftercare, eyelash extensions should not damage your natural eyelashes.
🔘 How can eyelash extensions be removed?
Please do not try to remove eyelash extensions yourself... You will end up pulling out your natural eyelashes if you pick or pull on the extensions. We apply a special cream to the extensions that are made to dissolve the bond of the adhesive. No damage is done to your natural eyelashes. Make sure you book a removal service with us as required.
